The John Vardy Awards
 2010



Each year a Final Year pupil from the three Secondary Schools in 
the area Newton Community High School, Golborne High School and 
St Aelreds R. C. High School is selected to receive this award to help 
towards the cost of the following years Further Education either at 
College or University. 

The recipients are selected on overall academic performance combined
with their contribution towards school life and the community.
